  • The ilio-psoas is a muscle much written about. He possesses three insertion heads : iliac, lumbar and femoral. External rotator for some, internal for the others but in any case, powerful thigh flexor rotator. In fact, it is a muscle working differently according to whether it has or not initially support on the ground , according to whether the pelvis is already rocked or not and finally according to whether the iliac wings open ( hips external rotation ) is made or not via the pelvi-trocanterians muscles. The work of this muscle is instigated by a good behaviour of the lumbar area.

  • The square of the lombes is a latero-flexor when it works unilaterally and total delordosant lumbar when the the two muscles work together.
